Only recent lectures are available as powerpoint files and/or text. Many lectures were used as basis for books and short publications (see list of publications).

Lecturing at University of Mainz started with topics taken from  research practice in energy transfer studies in aromatic polymers and momomeric model compounds. In the following years, topics of polymer spectroscopy, general photochemistry and environmental processes prevailed. Finally, life cycle assessment became the dominant topic, the new method of comparative product assessment. In all topics the physical and chemical basis of the methods was in the focus.
